My Three Articles from ArchiMag
Are you familiar with ArchiMag? They are a quarterly magazine on the iPad dedicated to all things ArchiCAD. They do a great job of getting some familiar faces and names to write for them (Eric Bobrow, Apollo Spiliotis, Jeroen de Bruin, and me). In 2011 and early 2012, I wrote 3 articles for them. It’s on my to do list to talk with them and see about writing for them again in 2013…
If you’re a long time reader of my blog, you’ll notice something familiar about the three articles I wrote for ArchiMag. All three grew out of blog posts I wrote for Shoegnome. Each is a conglomeration and expansion of a few posts. Even if you’ve read the original posts, you’re in for something new. In particular there’s a diagram in the Parallel Teams Article that I’ve been meaning to get up on the blog, but never got around to it. I’ve included it below because the image in the PDF is a little grainy. Enough jabber. As an end of the year present to you all, here are those three articles… Enjoy!
ArchiMAG 2011 Q3 What’s Your Research and Development Policy?
ArchiMAG 2011 Q4 Parallel Teams, Serials Teams, and The Critical Importance of Templates
ArchiMAG 2012 Q1 The Self-Referential Model

(and yes I know the formatting is different for each article; the magazine went from print to digital for the 3rd article)
