Best BIM Blog Post Ever
I just want to make sure you have all read this and that there’s a link from my blog to it. How I wish I had written it! And today seems like a good time to link to it because I haven’t gotten around to cleaning up one of the 150+ partially written blog posts I have that need publishing. Tonight or tomorrow. I just need to design a mini-golf hole first.
Without further ado… I give you the Best BIM Blog Post Ever Written**.
**that is until I find another one I like even more.
March 17th, 2021 update: One of the burdens of running a shockingly old website is that so many links go dead. At some point between 2013 and 2021, www.eatyourcad.com went dark. I have no idea what the Best BIM Blog Post Ever Written was about. Based on the comments below, it was something satirical. Consider this blog post just a tribute.
Since I can’t link to this long lost post, how about you read this post instead: Which BIM software should I use?

This post is hilarious. I assumed that it was serious at first, then caught a couple of odd things. The next thing I knew, I was reading through the whole thing and marveling at the sophisticated humor, chuckling all along.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Couldn’t agree more. The author does such a good job of pulling off subtle humor. So impressed.

Yep … but the problem is, you have to know quite a few things to understand that this is not a serious post …

Link is not working for me. Is this the correct address… www. eatyourcad .com/resource.php?resource_id=1943
Jared Banks
That is the right link. Not sure why it isn’t working for you. If you just go to the site directly you should be able to reach the post another way. It might just mean you need to register with the site (which is free to do).

Sadly I know of a case were all of those recommendations are true (except the civil one)

Link working for me today 😕 A very good read that would be even funnier were it not true (from a slightly cynical point of view).
