Latona Second Story

Often the aesthetic of my remodel projects comes from the existing house. We’re not looking to destroy what’s there; instead the goal is to evolve the home into something new. I like to think of it as the difference between a sapling and a mature tree. It’s the same tree, just grown up. This project was not one of the times. The original house was a forgettable 1960s one story home. Adding a second story not only doubled the square footage but also allowed us to create the classic home my clients always dreamed of. Floor trusses allowed us to reconfigure the main floor however we wanted and storage trusses created an incredibly large attic. The end result is a forever home that feels like it’s always been a part of the neighborhood.
