Two Cars and a Shop

A new garage to complement the existing craftsman-style home replaced an old structure that was days away from being toppled by a strong wind. This was one of my first ‘more than just a garage’ projects. In addition to parking spaces for two large vehicles, the garage also has a half bay for a woodshop, and a gigantic storage loft. Not only are the before and after photos dramatic, the proposed renderings vs constructed reality images highlight how valuable a good 3D model is to design and client communication.

Two years after this garage was finished, the client brought me back to remodel the basement of the house. That second phase wrapped up during the COVID lockdown in 2020 so I never got proper documentation of it.
