Here’s a quick video on a variety of exterior trim techniques from a recent project in Archicad 26. There’s also one cool interior easter egg at the end of the video that helps clients better visualize the space. While I’ve been doing more long form videos with good editing, this was a one take video that was recorded and posted to YouTube within an hour. If you’re curious, I discuss the existing conditions model for this project here. There’s some overlap in what I discuss, but hopefully that’s a good thing.

I recently moved to the United States from Ukraine. I’m an architect as well, and I use Archicad professionally.
I was watching your video about creating siding, and I realized I’ve never modeled it that way before. It looks like a really smart workflow.
Is there anywhere I can see more of how you model siding? I’m especially interested in how you create the window and door openings and how you handle all those details.
